
Judy McClain (E-RYT, RYT 500) founded Grace Yoga as a means for students to further their classical yoga studies and raise their consciousness. She teaches through the grace of her guru, Sri Dharma Mittra (dharmayogacenter.com), and continues her studies with Dharma in NYC. A devotional yogi, Judy practices yoga as a way of life. Her classes are collusions of language and form, spirit and body, love and muscle. In her former life, she attended the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, wrote fiction, and taught in the English Department at Rhode Island School of Design. Grace Yoga has won a Best of RI Monthly award.
Priscilla Szneke (E-RYT 200) integrates 30 years' experience as a nurse and epidemiologist with her commitment to meditation and yoga. Mindfulness, the art of interacting fully and intentionally with the present moment, is a central part of her practice and teachings. Learning mindfulness, we heal our bodies and minds, each other, and in turn, we heal the earth. Priscilla has completed the Mindfulness Yoga training at Spirit Rock. She has studied with Tias Little, Sarah Powers, Judith Lasater, and Jill Satterfield. Priscilla has completed courses with Herb Benson, MD at the Mind Body Institute. Keri McIntosh (E-RYT 200) has been captivated by the transformational effects of yoga since 2002. Influenced by a variety of styles – from vinyasa yoga to alignment-based approaches - Keri creates a welcoming environment for all students. Her classes help students find harmony between movement and stillness, strength and flexibility, resilience and surrender as she guides them through poses in a safe and heartfelt way. She emphasizes the joy of being alive within the body and creating a deeper sense of awareness to the true Self.
Sue Dunbar (RYT 200) has been practicing yoga since 1997 and is a member of the first graduating class of Grace School of Yoga, 2009. She has a deep appreciation for all styles of yoga, including vinyasa, mindfulness, and yin. Most recently, back problems led her to explore the healing qualities of restorative yoga. Sue seeks to make yoga accessible to all students and provides a safe environment to investigate movement and breath. She is also a language arts teacher in Newport.
Crystal Pilon (E-RYT 200, AYS) is a friend and neighbor of Grace and can enjoys walking to the studio for class. She is a graduate of the Nosara Yoga Institute of Costa. Crystal has been devoted to the healing practices of Ayurveda for more than 10 years. She has completed the Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist program at Kripalu , and soon she will graduate as an Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant. Crystal combines yoga’s science of self-realization with Ayurveda’s science of self-healing to inspire her meditative yoga practices and to inform her individualized lifestyle programs.
Jill Armstrong (RYT-200) has been developing a personal yoga practice for fifteen years. She is one of the first graduates of Grace School of Yoga, 2009. With immense respect for all aspects of the practice, Jill attributes profound changes in her life to yoga, and wishes to share her love and enthusiasm for the practice with the Grace community. Jill is also an art teacher in Middletown.
Lori Pagliaroni (RYT 200) s a member of the first graduating class of Grace School of Yoga. Lori has studied with Dharma Mittra in Mexico and travels to New York to study with her guru there. She takes many of her experiences of being a yoga student into her life on a daily basis and applies them in her teachings.
